Shoe Haul: yes that happened again...

Heute muss ich euch schon wieder mit einem Haul nerven, aber da ich persönlich gar nicht genug von Hauls bekomme, denke ich ihr nehmt mir das nicht übel. Ich möchte ja wirklich mal wieder einen Outfitpost machen, aber irgendwie fehlt mir dazu im Moment die Zeit. Ja ich bin grad voll im Prüfungsstess und sollte vermutlich gerade in meine Englischunterlagen sehen, aber wenn die Motivation flöten geht, versuch ich zumindest auf meinem Blog was weiterzubringen.
Today I'm again bothering you with a haul, I know that some people get annoyed pretty easily when just hauls are being posted and I'm going to post outfits and food stuff again soon I promise. There will also be travel-posts as I'm going to travel quite a bit this summer, but right now am so super busy at uni, and I'm not dressing up for anything. So life isn't that exciting these days.

Ich weiß ja nicht wie's euch geht, aber wenn es einen Shop gibt, wo ich immer was mitneheme, dann wohl Deichmann. Bei uns in der Stadt haben sie einen neuen gebaut, na toll dazu auch noch neben einem Lebensmittelmarkt. Da muss man vorbei, es hilft nix. Glaubt mir, ich brauch wirklich keine Schuhe mehr, aber sie sind soooooooo schön zum angucken. Haaach. Lassen wir Bilder sprechen!

Bitte seid nicht verwirrt, aber ab jetzt wird zuerst Deutsch und dann Englisch geschrieben. Ich möchte versuchen meinen Blog eher zu einem deutschsprachigen Blog zu machen. Nun zum eigentlichen Thema, mein Einkauf bei kosmetik4less.de. Das war meine erste Bestellung über diesen Onlineshop, den ihr sicher alle kennt und ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Bestellen ging ganz simpel und die Ware kam innerhalb einer Woche zu mir nach Österreich. Versand war dieses Mal reduziert, sonst sind es so um die 7€ wenn ich mir nicht irre.

Das ist auch schon die ganze Bestellung. Eigentlich hab ich ja wegen der Sleek Produkte bei Kosmetik4less bestellt. Ach, ich kanns ja immer noch nicht verstehen, wie ich bis jetzt ohne Sleek auskommen konnte. No idea. Aber um reduzierten Versand zu bekommen, musste man erstens über 25€ bestellen und mind. 1 Essence Produkt kaufen. Fand ich im Prinzip eigentlich gar nicht mal so blöd denn, entweder hab ich mit allen DMs in meiner Nähe ein Problem ODER es fehlt die Hälfte des Deutschen Sortiments in Österreich. (Wenn wer was weiß würde ich mich über Auskunft voll freuen) Auf jedenfall will ich seit März (!) einen von diesen Stay Matt Lipcreams haben, konnte diese aber nirgends finden. Egal hab ich jetzt. Und find sie recht interessant, die Farbe steht mir laut meiner besten Freundin super, ich fand sie mach mich krank (aber ich steh ja auf den "kranken" Look ^^). Von der Haltbarkeit war ich überrascht, positiv!
Here's an overview of all the products I ordered. BeautyUK, Sleek and Essence were the brand I eyed. The Stay Matt Cream is some kind of lipgloss that's not a lipgloss it's totally matt on your lips and the color stays forever. A nice product.

Ich werde nicht näher auf die Nagellacke eingehen, aber die Farbe sah ich Internet sooooo anders aus, dass ich schon fast einen Schock bekommen hab, aber ich muss sagen, dass das Korall-Orange gaaar nicht mal soooooo blöd aussah ;) Haltbarkeit: NAJA für 2€ darf man Nichts sagen, würd mir aber sowieso keine Lacke auf denen nicht ESSIE draufsteht zulegen.

Augenbrauenstift, ist ein Augenbrauenstift tut das was er tun soll. Farbe würde ich als doch relativ dunkles (obwohl 01 BLONDE) aber aschiges Braun beschreiben.

Sleek OH SO SPECIAL Palette, die ist wirklich oh so special. Bin absolut verschossen in diese Palette. Ich bin ja eigentlich nicht so der Lidschatten-Freund, dauert mich immer zulang ^^, also zumind. im Alltag, beim Fortgehen mag ich gerne mal ein Smoky-Eye. Die Pigmentierung ist wie erwartet sehr gut und verblenden lassen sie sich auch top.
I know that Sleek palettes (mine is the Oh so special) are very common in the UK (as it is a British brand), and I think the reputation speaks for itselves. They products are very well made and highly qualitative. I really recommend this brand. Love it.

Blush in der Farbe Flamingo (#937), ist eigentlich noch viel knalliger, aber meine Kamera wollte und wollte die Farbe nicht einfangen. Ich find das Blush einfach so schön zum Anschauen. Die Verpackung der Sleek Produkte wirkt echt hochwärtig, großer Spiegel, schlichtes Design, ich mags voll. Ernsthaft, das Blush kostet 6€ und wirkt zumind. für mich echt wie high-end. Würde man in der Drogerie nach einem Blush um 6€ suchen würde die Verpackung 100% nicht so edel wirken.
The blush has a really amazing pigmentation. You just need a little bit, so be carefully when putting it on. Flamingo (#937) is an amazing neon pink color.

Nun ein Produkt der Marke BeautyUK. Schon lange wollte ich die Marke mal austesten, da ich die Lippenstifte eigentlich recht ansprechend fand, somit durfte Passion (#10) mit ins Körbchen. Die Farbe ist leider wieder nicht gut eingefangen. Ach und das trotz Tageslicht... Anyway die Farbe ist eigentlich viel roserner. Ich hab die Farbe eher pinker erwartet aber auf den Lippen ist die Farbe doch eher ein kräftiges blaustichiges Rosa.

Another brand that's new to me. I was really excited to try something from BeautyUK. The lipstick is great. A lovely pink-ish color (Passion #10).

Für mich heißts jetzt ab ins Bett, mir fallen schon die Glupscher zu. Ich hoffe euch hat der Post gefallen, lasst mir doch mal wünsche in den Kommentaren da :) bin im Moment etwas ideenlos.

My 5 favorite Drugstore LIP products for summer

Hey meine Lieben,

I probably would not be writing a blog post right now, if wasn't ill. I don't know what I have, but I get dizzy a lot and I have a sore throat. Right now I'm sitting in my bed writing on my new love. YES I got a new laptop. I've had this little cutie for over a month now and I'm absolutely obsessed with Windows 8 (it's soooo practical). Anyway today's about my 5 favorite products for the lips from the drugstore. Enjoy!

Ich würde jetzt ganz sicher keinen Artikel für meinen Blog verfassen, wäre ich nicht krank. Ich sollte wohl eher am Schreibtisch sitzen und in meine Prüfungssachen sehen. Nun sitz ich aber in meinem Bett und tippe mit meinem neuen Laptop. Ach, super! Ich liebe meine neuen Sony Vaio einfach gg, die Handhabung mit Windows 8 finde ich auch total super, alles geht so unkompliziert. Aber egal heute geht's nicht um Computersoftware, sondern um Drogerieprodukte. Viel Vergnügen.

Number ONE
ASTOR recently launched the Soft Sensation Lip color Butters. They are available in 12 colors i think. And you know me, if there are new products I have to test them. The pigmentation of these is good. They're of course not as opaque as lipsticks, but that's not what they should be. You get good color on your lips and they feel relatively moisturizing too. They cost 8,45€ at DM
Neu auf dem Markt sind die ASTOR Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butters. Gibt's in 12 tollen Farben und sind was für alle, die noch immer darauf hoffen, dass die Revlon Lipbutters ihren Weg nach Österreich finden. Die Farbabgabe ist gut, man sieht definitiv das man Farbe auf den Lippen hat. Dazu sollen sich auch noch pflegen, naja von Pflege hab ich noch nichts bemerkt aber sie trocknen die Lippen zumind. nicht zusätzlich aus. Kosten bei DM 8,45 und beim BIPA sind sie glaub ich um ein paar Cents billiger.

Number TWO
Is an all time favorite and perfect for summer. L'Oréal Shine Caresse lip-glosses (lip-stains?) whatever you want to call them are the most long-lasting lip products I own. Perfect for summer, when you need to drink a lot and it's hot an sweaty, they'll stay in place. They give nice color and also a very pretty shine. Click here for a more detailed review! These are a little bit more expensive, about 10-12€
L'Oréal Shine Caresse Lipglosse oder Lipstains, ich kann noch immer nicht sagen, was die genau sein sollen. Jedenfalls, ein tolles Produkt mit der längsten Haltbarkeit, die ich bisher erlebt habe. Klar verschwindet der Glatz nach einiger Zeit aber dann ist halt eher weniger Gloss und mehr Stain. Für eine volle Review bitte hier klicken. Kosten etwas mehr, um die 10-12€.

Number THREE
My personal favorite, LABELLO Fruity Shine. I love this product so much. They give your lips a hint of color and they really really moisturize your lips. You can feel a difference. I have to admit that I'm normally not a huge fan of Labello as a brand. I just don't see their products as 'care' products. But even though the Labello Fruity Shine has glitter in it, it doesn't try out your lips, on the contrary. I think this is about 2-3€
Mein ganz persönliches Lieblingsprodukt, LABELLO Frutiy Shine. Nachgekauft und schon wieder halb leer, immer in meiner Tasche. Gibt etwas Farbe ab, aber nur einen Hauch, also perfekt für den Alltag. Ich bin ja kein Fan der Labello-Marke, da ich finde, dass die Pflegewirkung gleich 0 ist, zumindest bei den meisten Produkten. Dieses hier pflegt auf jeden Fall und riecht voll gut hach. Kostet 2-3€

Number FOUR
I love me some lipsticks. As much as I enjoy lip-butters and Co. I couldn't live without my lipsticks. I'm a bold-color-on-the-lips girl. And CATRICE is my most beloved drugstore brand. They have a nice color range and the quality is also good. My favorite color right now is #210 Pinkadilly Circus. Costs about 4€
Ich als Lippenstift Freak, kann natürlich nie ohne, egal ob Sommer oder Winter. Die Farben variieren aber Lippenstift bleibt. Ich finde Lipbutters und Co. ja wirklich toll, aber Lippenstifte sind sie doch keine. Im Drogeriebereich finde ich vor allem CATRICE wirklich gut. Haben hübsche Farben und die Qualität der Lippenstifte ist für den Preis auch top. Meine Lieblingsfarbe im Moment ist #210 Pinkadilly Circus. Die Lippenstifte kosten um die 4€

Number FIVE
Is not exactly a drugstore product. It's a THE BODY SHOP product. For me Body Shop is more drugstore than high-end, that's why I included it in this post. It's the 'foundation' lip-butter. This smells so sour I love it. For me at least this smells like passion fruit. I really like this product. It's sooo yummie smelling. Price 6,50€
Da ich den BODY SHOP eher als Drogerie als high-end bezeichnen würde, hab ich die 'Foundation' Lipbutter hier mitrein genommen. Ich wünschte ihr könntet sie durch den Computer riechen. So yummie, sehr sauer. Riecht nach saurer Maracuja. Kann man meterweit riechen. Toll, sprachlos. Kostet 6,50€

it's been 20 days

Hey everybody,

I know it's been a while since I last wrote a post. I don't know why. Seriously the last 2 weeks were soo full of university stuff and warm, sunny weather. I didn't shop much, I didn't wore much make-up, I didn't do anything special, just hung around with my friends and sleep ... and oh watch 3 seasons of Pretty Little Liars :). I started watching PPL during my easter break out of boredom and Tanya Burr :) she was talking about PPL in one of her videos and I wanted to start watching it for a while now, and I finally did. I was obsessed I had to watch the next episode and the next episode and OMG now I'm done and I don't know what to do with myself. :)
As you might probably have guessed I'm huge Spencer fan. She's the shit. She reminds me so much of myself in some weird ways. Love her style in the show. And love Toby <3
Apart from watching PPL I also learned so much for my midterms :) and am still learning. hurraaaaayyy.
I had an English exam and a history one on Friday and Saturday so I hadn't had a weekend :) I promise there will be a "real" post up this week. It's probably dealing with brushes or lipsticks so it's definitely fun.

Review: Vichy Normaderm Reinigungsgel & Foundation

Today I want to review the Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel and the Normaderm Foundation. First things first, the reason why I even bought these products was that I couldn't find a make-up which was light enough for me. So I started looking around in all those beauty-blogs and discovered the Normaderm Foundation. 

• What's a big plus for me with this foundation is, that it is made for women with oily skin and helps with redness and big pores, so it was perfect. And it really helps with imperfections, they'll go away after a couple of days.
• I'm in the lightest shade #15 opal and it's not that light I have to say, but it is rather yellow. This helped matching my skin a lot. 
• The make-up gives you a matt finish and it stays that way for a couple of hours (not as long as the Astor Mattidute though). 
• The consistency is very liquid but it blends really lovely.
• The coverage is medium to good I would say and you can easily build it up.
• It costs about 20€ in Austria (30 ml)

The nice lady at my local pharmacy gave me a sample to test the Deep Cleansing Gel at home. I just loved it form the first second the smell and everything is just amazing.

• The gel cleans your face really good no more cloged pores
• It doesn't dry out your skin very much, just moisturize your face afterwards
• It froths when you put the gel on your skin which feels lovely
• It's about 14€ in Austria (200 ml)

Heute gibt es eine kleine (wieso klein? ^^) Review über mein aktuelles Make-Up bzw. ein Reinigungsgel, das ich lieben gelernt habe. Der Grund warum ich mir diese Vichy-Produkte gekauft habe, ist folgender. Ich werde im Winter immer superblass, mir passte absolut kein Make-Up aus der Drogerie mehr. Also musste ich los, um mir ein anderes zu holen. Meine Wahl fiel (nach mehrstündiger Beauty-Blog Recherche) auf das Vichy Normaderm Teint Make-Up.

• Diese Foundation ist für ölige Haut sowie Mischhaut. Sie hilft bei Rötungen und größeren Poren. Ist aber auch für Frauen geeignet, die zu unreiner Haut neigen oder einfach, wenn man mal das Gefühl hat, man könnte Pickelchen (-chens machen alles viel niedlicher ^^) bekommen. Sollten nach einigen Tagen verschwinden. Da das Make-Up antibakteriell ist und die öle und Giftstoffe eliminiert, die aus der Haut kommen.
• Ich habe den hellsten Ton #15 Opal, leider war mir dieser an den ersten Tagen noch immer etwas zu dunkel, mittlerweile passt sie perfekt. Die Foundation ist eher gelbstichig, die meisten Foundations in der Drogerie eher rosastichig (geht für mich gar nicht) oder gar Orange (dazu muss ich jetzt nichts sagen oder? ^^).
• Die Foundation mattiert, wenn man nicht zuviel aufträgt und erst nach ein paar Minuten (nachdem die Foundation eingezogen ist) abpudert. Der matte Effekt hält leider nicht so lange wie bei der (leider rosastichigen) Mattitude von Astor. 
• Die Konsistenz ist sehr flüssig. (Für mich gelingt der Auftrag am besten mit einem feinen Pinsel, da lässt sie sich wunderbar verblenden.)
• Die Deckkraft ist meiner Meinung nach mittel bis gut, man kann die Foundation aber schichten ohne, dass sie wesentlich nachdunkelt.
• Der Preis liegt bei 20€ (30 ml)

Beim Kauf des Make-Ups bekam ich außerdem einen Tester des Dormaderm Reinigungsgel (gehört zur gleichen Serie wie das Make-Up). Ich war früher mit meinem Reinigungsgel von Balea super zufrieden, aber seit ich das von Vichy getestet hatte, konnte und wollte ich es nicht mehr benutzen. Deshalb kaufte ich mir eine Woche später das Reinigungsgel von Vichy.

• Reinigt porentief (und das wirklich, betrachtet man die Poren, nach dem waschen, wird man den Unterschied mit freiem Auge sehen)
• Es trocknet die Haut nicht wirklich aus, aber man sollte schon eine reichhaltige Feuchtigkeitscreme verwenden.
• Man benötigt nur einen halben Pump, das Gel schäumt sofort auf und man bekommt sofort dieses Gefühl von Reinheit.
• 200 ml kosten ca. 14€

how to bake a delicious strawberry-dream

Today I have another delicious recipe for you guys. One of my best friends, Joey celebrated her 20th birthday last weekend. So much fun. I love to bake pies and cakes for my friends. I try to do different kinds of cakes, so I can call them after my friends, every cake get special that way. So I hope you all enjoy the 'Joey-Cake'.

Und schon wieder hab ich gebacken. Ich hab in letzter Zeit echt ziemlich selten gebacken, versuch aber dies wieder öfters zu machen. Macht einfach riesen Spaß. Eine meiner engsten Freundinnen feierte vergangenes Wochenende ihren 20. Geburtstag und da musst natürlich auch ein/e Geburtstagskuchen/torte her (bin mir nicht ganz sicher, aber ich denke es ist doch eher eine Torte ^^). Ich versuche für jede/n Freund/in eine eigene Kreation zu überlegen. Somit hoff ich, dass euch der 'Joey-Cake' schmecken wird.

What you need / Was ihr braucht:
for the cake mix / für den Teig

• a cake tin (with a cross-section dimension of 7 inches) / Kuchenform (18cm Durchmesser)
• 4 eggs / 4 Eier
• 1 cup sugar powder / 120g Puderzucker
• 1 cup flour / 120g Mehl
• 1/2 cup butter / 120g Butter oder Magarine
• 1/2 dark chocolate / 120g dunkle Schoko
• 1-2 teaspoons baking powder / 1 Pkg. Backpulver

for the dreamy cream / für die traumhafte Creme

• whipped cream (as much you want to fill in the cake and top the cake with) / Schlagobers
• strawberries / Erdbeeren
• qimiq (sour cream with gelatin) / 1 Pkg. QumiQ
• maybe sugar if the berries aren't sweet enough / wenn die Erdbeeren nicht süß genug sind - Zucker

for the decoration / zum Dekorieren

• strawberries / Erdbeeren
• chocoade decor / Schokodekoration
• sprinkles / Zuckerstreusel

How to do it / Wie ihr es angeht:

1. Separate the eggs / Eier teilen
2. mix the egg white / Eischnee schlagen
3. Add the powder sugar and the butter to the yolk and mix it together / Puderzucker und Butter zum Dotter geben und gut vermixen
4. Meld the chocolate and add it to the mixture of butter, yolk and sugar / Schoko schmelzen und zur Dotter-Butter-Zucker-Masse geben
5. Add the flour and the baking powder then fold in the egg white / Nun das Mehl und Backpulver hinzufügen, dann den Eischnee unterheben
6. Put the mix in the cake tin and bake it for 45 minutes around 180 degrees  / Alles in die Form geben und ca. 45 Minuten bei 180 Grad backen

1. Stir the Qimiq / Qimiq glattrühen
2. Add the whipped cream to the Qimiq / Den geschlagenen Schlag zum Qimiq geben und verrühen
3. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and add them to the mixture of qimiq and whipped cream / Erdbeeren kleinschneiden und zur Masse geben.
