Trend: emerald-green nailpolish ♥

If we trust Anna Sui and Co. we will rock emerald green this spring. Emerald green is supposed to be THE trend color. I've never been a "green" girl if it comes to clothing but I kind of really became a fan of it. So I'll keep my eyes open for trendy pieces this spring.
I do have an emerald green nailpolish. I probably bought this one or two years ago and I never really wore it. As I said green used to be a very weird color for me. Don't get me wrong. My room's green and I love the nature and trees and I love to eat green stuff (yummie salads), but the only "green" I had been wearing was mint green, which is sort of the ungreeniest (here you go mastermind, inventing a new word ^^) green ever.

Wenn wir den Topdesigner (u.a. Anna Sui) der letzten Fashion Weeks vertrauen, dann werden wir im Frühjahr alle, Smaragdgrün tragen. Sollte eine der Frühlingsfarben werden. Ich war ja noch nie wirklich Fan von grünen Klamotten, aber jetzt find ich es toll :) (auf den Trend-Zug aufgesprungen). 

Ich besitze jedoch seit einigen Jahren einen smaragdgrünen Nagellack, getragen wurde er von mir ein stolzes Mal. Ich finde (fand) grüne Nägel einfach komisch und unhübsch. 

Ich liebe die Farbe Grün. Mein Zimmer hat grüne Wände, ich liebe die Natur und die Bäume und Pflanzen, ja ich esse sogar gerne "grün" (leckere Salate). Doch das einzige Grün, das ich getragen habe, war Mintgrün, was ja nicht wirklich gerade grün ist.

seventeen ultimate guide to Style

Pictures say more than a thousand words right? I ordered this book in summer and I love it. It's full of celebrities and cute styling ideas. I like that it's divided in looks (girly, boho, glam, edgy ...) so it's for everyone. Every chapter has a role model for it's certain look, the girly look is covered by Taylor Swift, the indie one by Emma Watson.

Ich denke ein paar Bilder sagen in diesem Fall mehr als 1000 Worte. Ich hab diesen Guide seit dem Sommer und liebe es, nach wie vor, darin zu schmökern. Ich mags, dass dss Buch in verschiedene Stilrichungen unterteilt ist (girly, boho, glam, edgy usw.) so ist etwas für jeden dabei. Jedes Kapitel hat eine berühmte Frau als "Gesicht" so ist das z.B. bei "girly" Taylor Swift oder bei "indie" Emma Watson.

Nina Gracia - Der perfekte Stil

This book contains a lot of text, if we compare it to the seventeen style guide. In there are a lot of quotes of famous designers, superstars and fashionicons. It's written with lots of charm. What I like most is, that you get to know the world of fashion also in an historical point of view. (e.g. why cork was used during the second world war...). For me the most perfect book for all fashion lovers.

Dieses Buch ist geschrieben wie ein Buch. Es enthält relativ viel Text und Bilder nur in Form von Zeichnungen. Es enthält viele Zitate berühmter Modeschöpfer, Stars und Modeikonen. Es ist mit viel Charme geschrieben und auch historisches Wissen über versch. Materialen und Schnitte (Kork im 2. Weltkrieg, da Stahl für Waffen benötigt wurde bis zum Wickelkleid) wird vermittelt. Für mich ein perfektes Buch für alle Modeliebenden.

Ines de la Fressange - Pariser Chic

You can see that this book was written by an french model. It's sooo classy. I own this book for over two years. I really really like it a lot. The french style is something that's know in the whole world. The flair and everything is so uh lala. Everybody that loves France, Paris and the french fashion will love this book for sure.

Ich habe diesen Stil-Guide von meiner Mama zu Weihnachten bekommen. Zu den ganzen amerikanischen Style-Guides die ich habe, finde ich diesen französischen ganz ansprechend. Die Mode in Frankreich ich halt eigen. Geschrieben wurde dieses Buch von einem französischen Model. Jeder, der schon mal in Frankreich war oder generell Paris-Fan ist, wird dieses Buch lieben.

Vienna Haul :)

Two weeks ago I've been in Vienna and Krems with a good friend of mine. And what better way to spend a cloudy Saturday, than to go shopping. We went to G3 which is a new shopping center near Vienna. It's known for it's Primark (we only have 2 Primarks in Austria, the other one is in Innsbruck). So Primark was soooooo crowed. We are shopping addicts and normally can't get enough of it, but after two hours in Primark (I assumed we would be longer in there) we had to sit down and had lunch at an asian restaurant. Afterwards we went to Mango, H&M, Müller, DM, Deichmann and a couple of other stores. Before we headed to Krems we enjoyed FroYo at a really lovely shop.
So here's what I bought :)

Anfang Februar war ich zu besuch bei einer Freundin in Wien und Krems. Und wir verbringen wir Mädels am liebsten, wolkige Samstage. Genau wir gehen shoppen. Unser Ziel an diesem Samstag war das G3 in Gerasdorf bei Wien. Die meisten kennen dieses Shoppingcenter weil sich ein Primark darin befindet. Und wie wir es uns schon vorgestelot hatten, war es im Primark super voll. Überall Leute die, so wie wir, die Taschen bis zum Rand gefüllt hatten. Nach zwei Stunden, suchen, probieren und aussortieren war Mission Primark für uns abgeschlossen. Wir waren total ausgepowert, deshalb ging es erstmals zum Mittagessen in ein Asiatisches Restaurant. Gestärkt ging es für uns mit Mango, H&M, Müller, DM, Deichmann u.v.m. weiter. Zum Abschluss gabs noch leckeres FroYo. Da es ja imemr für alle interessant is was so im Sortiment von Primark ist hab ich noch Fotos für euch.

Garnier BBCream oder Astor Mattitude?

I have to say, I do have a "lucky hand" if it comes to make-up or let's say foundation. I've never tried out a really bad foundation, of course there have been better or not-so-good products but I always used them up. So today I want to share some of my top products if it comes to foundation.

Ich persönlich habe ja das Glück noch nie zu einer wirklich faschen Foundation (dt. Grundierung) gegriffen zu haben. Klar hab ich auch schon weniger gute Foundations gehabt, aber ich die konnte man durch Mischen oder zur Richtigen Jahreszeit noch verwenden. Ich scheine trotzdem ein glückliches Händchen zu haben. Und genau deshalb möchte ich heute zwei positive Erfahrungen mit euch teilen.

I'd like to start with the Garnier BBCream. I started using it during the summer time, which is obviously the perfect time for a good BB Cream because it contains SPF. We all know what BB Creams are supposed to do, they should be light on our skin (like an improved tinted moisturizer), they should help if we have blemishes (BB = Blemish Balm), protect our skin with SPF... I heard pretty good stuff about the Garnier BBCream "Miracle Skin Perfector", so sooner or later I had to try it out and I hope it'll keep all the promises. And it did. I'm a huge fan. I tend to have oily-ish skin, so I need something that prevents my skin from shining, so the matt effect was a big plus and the BBCream really matted my skin. I didn't even use powder most of the time. I hoped it also would give me enough coverage because I also tend to have redness around my nose. And that point met my demands in a way I didn't even image. Most of the foundations tend to have almost no coverage at all, and this might be great for girls/women that have good skin, but if you aren't that lucky you need some kind of foundation with coverage. Another point I didn't think of, when buying it was the "BB" point. I didn't think a BBCream could prevent me from getting blemishes and helping with imperfection I already have but it did. My skin got sooooo much better. I didn't even need my BBCream on most of the days. I really can recommend this product for everyone with OK skin but far away from no-make-up-days skin. It's so easy to put on (I use my fingers) and you're done in a minute or so. 
I just have to small minus points, firstly the BBCream is really liquid so it's sometimes a bit hard to not get it everywhere (on your clothes, everywhere in you bathroom, on the floor...) and secondly the color range, if you can even call it color range, which is not a real minus point because almost none foundation has more that 4 different colors, but the Garnier has just two, a light one (which is definitely to dark for me in the winter-time) and a medium to dark one.

Ich würde gerne mit der BBCream von Garnier beginnen. Ich hab mir diese Creme mitte Juni zum ersten Mal gekauft (ca. 12€), was ja eine tolle Zeit für einen BBCream sein soll. Wir alle wissen mittlerweile für was BBCreams so stehen. Sie sollen sich leicht anfühlen und nicht so schwer wie Make-Ups sein. Also eine Art verbesserte getönte Tagescreme. Sie sollen uns mit deinen kleineren und größeren Unreinheiten helfen und unsere Haut von äußeren Einflüssen beschützen (LSF). Ich hatte schon viel Positives über die BBCream von Garnier gehört also über die "miracle skin perfector" (die erste die herausgekommen ist sollte ja nicht so der Burner sein). Ich hoffte also, dass ich selbst auch so begeistert war. Und das war ich, ich war mehr als nur begeistert. Ich selber habe ja Mischhaut die dazu neigt schnell mal zu glänzen. Also brauch ich etwas das mattiert, früher hab ich einfach nachgepudert, aber mit der BBCream musste ich das so gut wie gar nicht mehr machen. Sie mattiert wirklich gute 5-8 Stunden, was für mich zumind. ziemlich gut ist. Naja mein zweites Problemchen sind Rötungen, die ich habe, ich habe selten Pickel, aber irgendwie halt so Rötungen, also brauchte ich was mit guter Deckkraft und genau das ist bei BBCreams ja immer so eine Sache, ich hab gehört, dass die meisten Creams echt nicht gut decken, was für Leute mit guter Haut kein Problem ist, aber für mich wäre das ein No-Go. Wie auch immer sie deckt super, besser als das Make-Up, das ich dafür hatte. Ja und der dritte Punkt, den ich gerne ansprechen möchte, ist, dass die BBCream mein Hautbild einfach so verbessert hat. Wahnsinn, damit hätte ich nie im Leben gerechnet, aber meine Haut wurde so viel besser und ich hatte fast keine Rötungen mehr. Ich kann euch die BBCream wirklich nur empfehlen. Fürs Auftragen braucht man keine zwei Minuten (ich machs mit den Fingern). Zwei sehr kleine Makel am Produkt könnte ich aber trotzdem feststellen. Erstens, die Creme ist wirklich sehr flüssig und man muss echt aufpassen, dass man nicht alles vollkleckert. Zweitens, die Farbauswahl. Ja klar ich weiß schon, dass keine BBCreams jetzt die Farbpalette haben, aber von dieser gibt es halt echt nur zwei, hell (die mir im Winter viel zu dunkel ist, ich bin heller Hauttyp aber nicht ganz hell) und mittel bis dunkel. Trotzdem ein Produkt, welches ich wirklich lieben gelernt habe und das ich im Sommer echt wertschätze.

Let's move on to the foundation I use now. The Astor Mattitude Make-Up. Yes this is a Make-Up now and I don't want to compare a BBCream to a Make-Up, that would be very unfair. But as the BBCream got to dark for me (yes it's winter) I had to look for another foundation, if I wanted to or not, because I'm a big fan of the BBCream. I looked around the web for reviews and at first I didn't find anything that you possibly work for me, but then I discovered the Mattitude Make-Up. So I headed to my DM to get it (ca. 9€) I took the lightest color (01 Ivory). I love to use this make-up. It's really light for a Make-Up and has a lovely smell, the packaging might not be the prettiest of all time but hey it's important how it works and it works good. The coverage is not as good as the BBCream (okay now we have the comparison ^^ but I'll be nice - promise) which was a little surprising for me, but it's good. The "matt effect" on the other hand lasts waaaay longer. It's soooooooo nice. I love it. I do my make-up in the morning and when I come home in the evening it's still matt. BIG PLUS. I love the creamy consistence. It will be very hard to decide which one of this two amazing products to use if it's summer and I could use my BBCream again. Now I have to stick to the Mattitude. I recommend both products the same!

Im Moment benutze ich gerade das Astor Mattitude Make-Up. Ich möchte in diesem Post natürlich nicht ein Make-Up mit einer BBCream vergleichen, aber doch einfach Vor- und Nachteile der Produkte aufzeigen. Als mir meine BBCream zu dunkel wurde (was bei mir im Winter immer der Fall ist), musst ich mich nach einer neuen Foundation umsehen. Ich hab mich auf diversen Blogs schlaugemacht und bin zum Entschluss gekommen mir die Astor Mattitude zu besorgen (Preis: ca. 9€). Ich benutze die hellste Nuance 01 Ivory. Und ich liebe dieses Make-Up. Für ein Make-Up finde ich die Textur ziemlich leicht. Sie fühlt sich superangenehm auf der Haut an, fast so als wäre man gar nicht geschminkt. Den leicht blumigen Geruch finde ich auch sehr toll. Die Verpackung finde ich jetzt nicht umwerfend aber das Ergebnis der Foundation zählt. Die Deckkraft ist im Vergleich zur BBCream ein bisschen geringer, nicht viel aber doch. Das hat mich doch etwas überrascht. Mattitude mattiert meine Haut aber dafür wesentlich länger als die BBCream. Ich schminke mich morgens und muss mich abends noch immer nicht nachpudern. Welch ein Erfolg, außerdem verschmiert absolut gar nichts. Für meinen Hauttyp ist diese Foundation perfekt, für trockene Haut würde ich sie aber auf keinen Fall empfehlen. Ein weitere Pluspunkt ist die cremige Konsistenz, der Auftrag mit dem Pinsel ist also supereinfach. Es wird echt schwer sich zu entscheiden, wenn ich im Sommer auch wieder meine geliebte BBCream benutzen könnte. Ich kann jedenfalls beide Produkte empfehlen.

Mary (the youngest of the three sisters) is one of my very best friends for over 5 years now. She's such a unicorn to me. A girl with a huge heart, and a lot of creativity and passion. To me she'll always be my "Whitney". I'm probably the only one seeing the similarities to Whitney Port, but I'm weird ya know. Mary, Jo and Billy are really cool girls, they are sooooo amazing in doing photoshoots and video and whatever they are doing this week. OK just wanted to say that now of to the actual post.

Die Mädels von Three Heads in the Clounds haben mich für den "Liebster Award" nominiert. Also wenn ihr ihren Blog noch nicht kennt, dann schaut ihn euch unbedingt an, die Mädels sind die pure Inspiration. Mit dir jüngsten der drei Schwestern, Mary bin ich seit über 5 Jahren befreundet. Für mich ist sie eine Art Einhorn. Sie hat sooooo ein großes Herz und das füllt sie am liebsten mit Kreativität und Leidenschaft. Für mich wird sie immer "Whitney" bleiben, auch wenn ich wohl die Einzige bin die die Ähnlichkeiten zu "Whitney Port" herstellen kann. Ich bin ja Fan von allen drei. Richtig coole Mädls. Die umwerfende Fotos mach oder Video oder was auch immer sie diese Woche machen, es ist auf jeden Fall toll. So jetzt hab ich das auch rausgelassen und jetzt los mit dem eigentlichen Post.
